As the opposing perspectives stated, the other side of the argument is in agreement with few and are in disagreement with the majority. Few that people who are Pro-Choice disagree with is that there are many other services to receive sexul health care from, that the government is apparently funding abortion, that the fetus is independent, that God is against abortion and is real, that the fetus feels pain, that women should accept their consequences, and that abortion is not a choice. One agreement that they have is that the fetus is human-like.
One of the statements that Pro-Choice people do not agree with is that the government funds abortions, as research says, abortions do not receive any government funding for that it is illegal to use government money to pay for abortion. Additionally, women cannot get as much sexual health care services from the “13,000” community services that are offered, that means women get less reproductive health care — from birth control to cancer screenings to STD testing and treatment. Unintended pregnancies would likely increase, too. When Texas defunded Planned Parenthood, women got less affordable sexual health care and got more pregnant. “Politicians have claimed time and again that our patients can simply go to other health care providers — and tragically that’s not the case. Instead, women were left out in the cold. Texas is fast becoming a cautionary tale for politicians in Ohio, Utah, and other states targeting care at Planned Parenthood” (Richards, Take One Guess What Happened After Texas Defunded Planned Parenthood).

Further disagreement is that taxpayers do not pay for all abortions that are performed, even though people who are Pro-Life stated that they do, the Hyde Amendment prevents that, which was issued in 1993 after being tampered with several times, when originally initiated in 1973. The tax money that is used for abortions fall under only a few circumstances which is, rape, incest, or endangering a woman's life --which some people, who are Pro-Life, are okay with those circumstances. Other abortions must be paid for out of pocket. “Abortions are not covered Medicare procedures “except if the pregnancy is the result of an act of rape or incest; or in the case where a woman suffers from a physical disorder, physical injury, or physical illness, including a life-endangering physical condition caused by or arising from the pregnancy itself, that would, as certified by a physician, place the woman in danger of death unless an abortion is performed”” (Conover).
A third disagreement is that a fetus is an independent life. As people who are Pro-Choice state and as science justifies, the fetus is not independent for that it is in requirement of the carrier's life and body to be sustainable during the 40 weeks of development in the carries womb. “Even if a fetus was alive, the "right to life" doesn’t imply a right to use somebody else’s body. People have the right to refuse to donate their organs, for example, even if doing so would save somebody else’s life” (Bustle). People who are Pro-Choice agree that the fetus is human-like, but even though it is not fully developed and living outside the womb, the fetus is not independent. “A fetus can’t survive on its own. It is fully dependent on its mother’s body, unlike born human beings” (Bustle).
Another reason why people who are Pro-Choice are in disagreement with people who are Pro-Life is because people who are Pro-Life bring their religion into the situation stating that aborting a fetus is against God’s will. Many people who are Pro-Choice do not follow a religion, therefore non-religious people who are Pro-Choice are in disagreement with the statement that God is real and that God is against abortion |
Furthermore, People who are Pro-Life claim that a fetus does indeed feel pain, so when an abortion is performed it is resulting in murder. Scientifically, a fetus does not feel pain until later stages of development --30 weeks, which is not until after the deadline of an abortion --28 weeks. In order for the fetus to feel pain, the fetus must first develop awareness of an unpleasant stimulus — receptors throughout the body must send a signal to the brain, where it can be processed as pain. Early pain perception is unlikely, because the thalamus and cortex have not yet been formed. “It was apparent that connections from the periphery to the cortex are not intact before 24 weeks of gestation and, as most neuroscientists believe that the cortex is necessary for pain perception, it can be concluded that the fetus cannot experience pain in any sense prior to this gestation” (RCOG, 2010).
People who are Pro-Choice disagree that a woman should accept her consequences for getting pregnant. Many women and men do not get well sexual education or have the access to free contraception. Furthermore, it is never just the woman's fault, it takes two to reproduce. Secondly, women who are raped do not have to accept their consequences for that it was not her decision to get raped and to be impregnated. As adoption may be an option, it is also not a good one. “ Currently, there are close to 400,000 children in state custody; only half have permanent plans for placement. Meanwhile, employees in protective services are underpaid and overworked, treading water to try to ensure that all of the children in their care are happy and healthy. Anyone who believes that adoption or foster care is a natural solution to growing restrictions on reproductive rights is kidding themselves” (Rewire).
Finally, People who are Pro-Choice do not have to agree with what women decide to do, that is why it is called Pro-Choice, they do not have to agree with the procedures but that does not mean that they can stop anyone from doing as they please. People who are Pro-Choice know that they are not in control of other humans mind and bodies. It is always the woman's choice, even though the man helped create the fetus, it is not in his body for development. “Banning abortion violates a woman's right to control her own body” (Bustle).
