Part V - conclusion
Conclusively, my opinion differs far from those who are Pro-Life. I have been constantly harassed for being Pro-Choice, I have been called a baby murdered, and confusingly I have been called a slut for being Pro-Choice. I know that I cannot tell another person what to do, and I know that it is never my decision or right to put judgement on another being. I can agree that the fetus is human-like, and that abortion is in ways an inhumane, terrifying procedure, but being Pro-Choice does not always mean being Pro-Abortion. I full heartedly support a woman's decision to decide what is best for her even if I was or was not against the procedure. I love affordable birth control, it helps prevent me from being pregnant and leaving me in the path of abortion. Defunding Planned Parenthood will only take that prevention away from me.
A child should be planned and wanted at the right time for the mother, if it is not for the right time for the mother, then it is her decision to abort or not before the 28 week cutoff. Defunding Planned Parenthood will not help either, that will only cost more money. Defunding Planned Parenthood does not take away abortion, since abortions were paid out of pocket to begin with. Defunding Planned Parenthood will take away birth control and contraceptives, that do prevent pregnancy and abortions. Is that not what people who are Pro-Life want, to reduce abortions? Then understand that defunding Planned Parenthood only takes away those opportunities of reducement. Understand that the woman is going through such a hard, mind wrenching decision, and the best way to support her is to turn and look the other way. Your opinion in the end, never results in the final decision.
Being Pro-Life is a confusing act in my opinion. On both sides, people harass each other instead of looking at the main issue, but I see a lot more hate from some of the people who are Pro-life. Pro-Life activist do not usually look at other issues that revolve around death, such as war. Some of the people who are Pro-Life look down on teenage parents. Pro-Life activist do not support the mother or child after birth. If that child that they saved from abortion turns out to be sinnful, such as a homosexual, they no longer care that the person is human, and rather see that person more as an abomination, and demand that being to hell. Some people who are Pro-Life only care about that child while it is still in the womb, or is it that they only care about controlling the carrier and her decisions? If people who are Pro-Life really cared about bringing down the rates of abortion, they would change their sex educations and not harass women at clinics, they would not shoot up Planned Parenthood clinics and kill the beings that are in them. They would not mistreat a woman for deciding to get an abortion or considering one, they would not force a woman to carry that child only to die after giving birth. As to the men who harass women and make the women feel inferior for getting an abortion or deciding to have one, you men are 100% likely to never get pregnant, and you men have 100% chance to never have a uterus. That is not Pro-Life, that is being Pro-Birth, that is controlling another woman's mind, body, and personal decisions. A child is never a punishment.
